Long sought after for its metaphysical properties, the gem version of Andalusite has recently become popular. A bit of a mysterious and unusual gemstone due to its pleochroic properties, exhibiting different colors when viewed at different angles. This particular gemstone is a light greenish-yellow down the middle, and rust color along two sides. It also contains a few rutile needles visible to the eye. These inclusions do not impair the brightness of this gemstone. Hard enough to be mounted in either a ring or pendant.
