A bit of a mysterious and unusual gemstone due to its pleochroic properties, Andalusite commonly exhibits different colors when viewed at different angles. This particular gemstone is bicolor, with zones of rust red and greenish-yellow colors. It does contain several rutile needles and other inclusions, but these inclusions do not impair the brightness of this gemstone. Hard enough to be mounted in either a ring or pendant.
