ANDALUSITE EMERALD CUT 1.85 CARAT ANN00051

This is one of the most unusual gemstones we have. Extremely clean, as the video indicates. Due to its pheochroism, it exhibits a bit of a “rust” color on the edges, with the rest of the stone a light greenish-blue to greenish-steel in color. We also noticed a color change to an olive green under our studio lights, with further color changes, especially on the edges, from green to yellowish-gold depending on the light source. Due to the rarity of this Andalusite, we recommend setting this stone in a custom setting.
