Small Rich Blue Montana Sapphire Approx. 5.2mm Round Engagement Stone MTY00354

This is a small but very brilliant and unusual sapphire from Montana. This sapphire exhibits a very unusual color display of tiny deep blue spots (caused by concentrations of iron and titanium atoms) when viewed under high magnification (see video). We didn’t notice them even under a 10x loupe, but they do add a bit of invisible character to the sapphire. What is visible to the eye is a very deep blue color with excellent scintillation. This is definitely a sapphire with engagement stone quality. In addition to a small engagement ring, it can be set in a ring or small pendant.
