The original crystal structure in this sapphire is visible under high magnification, but is not visible under the naked eye due to the stone’s high level of scintillation. The scintillation is so bright that this sapphire is quite noticeable from several feet away. It is suitable for either a ring or pendant, and the scintillation is high enough for it to be set in a small engagement ring.
