Andalusite Bicolor Burnt Orange/Light Green Oval 0.81 Carat ANN00060

Long sought after for its metaphysical properties, the gem version of Andalusite has recently become popular. A bit of a mysterious and unusual gemstone due to its pleochroic properties, exhibiting different colors when viewed at different angles. The pleochroism causes this particular gemstone to exhibit burnt orange tips, while the rest of the gemstone is a light olive green. It does have a few inclusions, but they are not noticeable due to the stone’s unique properties. Hard enough to be mounted in either a ring or pendant.
