Rich pink with flashes of purple, the color of this gemstone of more reminiscent of tourmaline from Southern California or Asia than from Brazil. It is also bicolor, with a bit of orange on one edge. It does have some veils that inhibit the brightness of the stone. Still a rich pink, almost red, that helps offset the internal inclusions. We have priced this gemstone at less than $60 per carat.
