Pinkish Red Mahenge Garnet Cushion Cut 1.70 Carat Eye Clean MAH00067

Not your typical red Almandine garnet, this Mahenge garnet is a rich pinkish red color in most light, and displaying a minor color shift to red in old-fashioned incandescent lighting (see pictures). This color shift is typical for Mahenge garnets. We were lucky enough to obtain a parcel of Mahenge garnets soon after they were first discovered in Tanzania in 2015. We finally had the parcel faceted by our cutting shop and the results have been incredible. As you can see in the video, this particular garnet is eye clean. Its size, color and brilliance is perfect for either a ring or pendant.
