Most Oregon sunstones are a straw yellow in color. This particular stone is a copper-pink, with some light schiller visible, especially on the sides. The schiller in this stone is caused by tiny copper inclusions. These copper inclusions in this stone form a snowflake pattern. Due to sunstone’s hardness (approx. 6.5), we recommend setting this stone in a pendant or brooch.
