Montana Sapphire Greenish Blue Radiant
This Montana Sapphire Greenish Blue Radiant is from 20-year-old stock, was originally mined from the Missouri river gravels. Faceted in Montana, this heat-treated gemstone is the classic teal (greenish blue) color that Montana sapphires are known for. As you can see from the video, this is a bright gemstone. The sapphire’s brilliance is magnified by the radiant cut. There are a few very small inclusions that are hardly noticeable, even under a loupe. This sapphire would be perfect in a ring or small pendant. This gemstone comes with an estimated retail appraisal of $1,300. For further information on the various types of appraisals, including the difference between estimated retail and insurance appraisals, please see our section describing the various types of appraisals. Please note that the appraisal incorrectly describes the cut as a “square emerald”.
