As you can see in the video, this is a clean, bright gemstone. Unfortunately, there is a very slight chip in the culet that is barely visible. There are a couple very slight inclusions, that are not readily noticeable. We’ve decided to discount this gemstone to under $12 per carat. This stone still looks great, and will be noticeable from several feet away. The hardness for Scapolite falls between Apatite and Tanzanite. For this reason, we recommend setting this stone in a pendant or as part of a necklace.
