As you can see in the video, this is a bright stone. Reminiscent of pink tourmaline but with much more flash, this spinel reminds us of pink sapphire. This spinel does have some light inclusions, but they do not impact the brightness of the stone. The actual origin is unknown, but we suspect it is from the Tunduru river deposit in Tanzania. This particular spinel can be set in either a ring or pendant, but we recommend a pendant due to the stone’s brightness.
