Oregon Sunstone Shiny Copper Cushion Cut 1.96 Carat SUN00054

This gemstone displays the shiny copper schiller that Oregon sunstones are famous for. The schiller almost looks like the bottom of a shiny copper pan. The schiller in this stone is caused by tiny copper inclusions. These copper inclusions in this stone form a striping pattern. We have additional videos which display the play of schiller available. Due to sunstone’s hardness (approx. 6.5), we recommend setting this stone in a pendant or brooch.
