Oregon Sunstone Peach Round Portuguese Cut 1.58 Carat SUN00058 – RESERVED

This is a classic example of an Oregon suntone – peach color with light schiller in an otherwise very clean, bright gemstone. The Portuguese pattern cuts through the light schiller and gives this stone more sparkle than most sunstones. The light schiller is caused by tiny copper inclusions which form a snowflake pattern. Due to the hardness of this stone (approx. 6.5), we recommend setting this stone in a pendant.
