This is a dark stone, and is for someone looking more for color in a gemstone than “flash”. A bit unusual, this stone displays a dark red color in normal lighting, and an orange color when viewed under our gemstone penlight. Due to the hardness of this stone (approx. 6.5), we recommend setting this stone in a pendant.
