Montana Sapphire Shades of Blue Cushion Cut 0.78 Carat MTY00273

This small but beautiful gemstone displays a minor color change in various shades of blue, which is common for sapphires from Montana. These shades include morning-blue, light silver-blue and light-blue with a bit of green. Most of the pictures were taken in normal lighting, but we included two pictures taken in 4200K fluorescent and 6500K (overcast sky) lighting. It has a light veil visible under a 10x loupe, but will not be noticeable once mounted. This sapphire is a bit lighter under some lighting than in the video. Mined over 20 years ago from the Missouri River gravels in Montana, we recommend mounting this sapphire in either a ring or small pendant.
