Montana Sapphire Dark Olive Green Round 0.59 Carat MTY00308

As you can see in the video, this is overall a very bright stone. This Montana sapphire displays a modest color shift. It is a dark olive green with lots of scintillation in most lighting, but it can dull out in dark diffused lighting and lose its brightness. The olive green color is similar in hue to olive green tourmaline from Brazil, but this sapphire is much brighter. There are tiny blue specks visible under magnification that are likely the result of the standard heat treatment reacting with titanium atoms in the sapphire. A very unusual sapphire.
