Montana Sapphire Color Shift Blue/Green/Violet Oval Shape 0.61 Carat MTY00328

This small but unusual Montana sapphire displays a color shift to various shades of blue, green, and violet depending on the lighting. The blue is under our normal sunlight lamps, and the violet is under traditional 40w incandescent light bulbs (see pictures). We noticed that this sapphire displays a smoky color under fluorescent lighting, and a bluish-green under our store-bought penlight. We suspect this stone will even change color when exposed to outdoor lighting depending on the time of day. This sapphire is for someone looking for a Montana sapphire displaying multiple colors depending on the lighting.
