Spinels and sapphires were once considered to be the same stone, and one can understand why when looking at this particular spinel. A dark blue, reminiscent of dark blue sapphires. As the video indicates, this is a very clean stone. The exact origin is unknown, but we suspect this stone came from the Tunduru river deposit in Tanzania. This particular spinel is perfect for either a ring or pendant.
