This is a nice large Montana sapphire. Clean Montana Sapphires over a carat are rare, and this gemstone weighs 1.14 carats. There is just a hint of silk that is visible under a loupe, otherwise this sapphire is eye clean. It displays a modest color shift, dark charcoal blue in some indoor lighting but definitely more green in bright light. This would make a very nice engagement stone.
